The Morning Show with Declan Meehan Wednesday 13th November 2013

10am-11am Declan spoke to Victoria Magde, Chairperson of teh Philippino Community Network Ireland about the ongoing fallout from the typhoon in the Philippines and how Irish-based Philippines citizens are coping with the crisie. Dermot Goode of came on to chat to Declan about increases in the cost of health insurance and the loss of tax reliefs and the community rating levy which have added massively to health insurance costs. Sorcha Murphy of Escape boutique in Greystones dropped by to chat about 'mannish chiq' and Sergeant John Fitzpatrick came into studio to talk about credit card fraud and skimming. 11am-12 Journalist Colin Murphy has written a play about the bailout called 'Guaranteed' and he was in studio to chat to Declan about how it's been going and the Kilkenomics festival. Shirley McClure of Bray Active Retirement came in to talk about her work as a tutor in the writing group and brought along Helen Mangan, one of the contributors to the book they produced called 'These Things Happen'. Fiona Dillon dropped in to chat to Declan about her book 'Food From an Irish Garden' and how to live the good life, growing your own and cooking from scratch.
