Tuesday 3rd September 2013 The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We spoke to Michael Culloty from Money Advice Budgeting Service and Simon Moynihan from www.bonkers.ie about the rise in energy bills, how they will impact households and how to save some money. We also discussed the planned industrial action by non-consultant doctors with Eric Young, Assistant Director Industrial Relations IMO and FG Deputy Andrew Doyle and we talked about insolvency with Money Doctor John Lowe. 11am -midday •We were joined in studio by local businesswoman Margo Fleming who has a very innovative idea to cut out some of the weight of school books with her “booksplits” and we heard that people spent an extra €30 million in supermarkets during the hot weather, mainly on barbecue and picnic food from David Berry from Kantar World Panel. We also got an update on Springfield Cemetery from Sinn Fein Councillor John Brady and reaction from Sheila, whose father is buried there.
