Monday 21st January 2013 The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We were joined by East Coast fm reporter Laura Wood, who told us about last night’s European Premiere of ‘Lincoln’ which was held in aid of the Wicklow Hospice Foundation and played her exclusive stand alone interview with Oscar nominated Daniel Day Lewis and we spoke to Hospice Chairman, Dr Brendan Cuddihy about the success of the night, gala dinner and auction. We also spoke to Dr Harry Comber, Director, National Cancer Registry about how people in disadvantaged areas have higher rates of cancer and why and we caught up with Eamonn O’ Neill from Arklow about his film ‘I’m fine thanks’ which is nominated in BAFTA Short film category. 11- 12pm •We heard about the expected turnaround in the economy and potential pay rises from IBEC Senior Economist Reetta Suonpera and Laura Wood returned to fill us in on meeting and play her interviews with Sally Field, Stephen Spielberg and Michael D Higgins. Declutter Expert Breda Stack talked to us about the importance of decluttering for a happy, healthy mind and Bray Detective Inspector Frank Kinihan gave a fresh appeal on missing Bray man Philip ‘Philly’ O’ Toole.
