Friday 26th October 2012 The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We returned we discussed the proposal by the Gardai to close some stations around the country and replace them with ‘clinics’ with Joint Policing Committee Cllr Pat Doran and Minister Ruairi Quinn talked about the patronage survey, the future of Colaiste Raithin and the teachers protest. Following story of a young girl losing her colon having used diet pills she bought on-line, we also discussed the lengths women will go to on the quest to look their ‘perception of perfect’ with Author and Journalist Sinead Moriarty. 11- 12pm •We were joined in studio by Chef Siobhan Donnelly who gave some tips on hallowe’en treats and we discussed Enda Kennys European award with FG Deputy Andrew Doyle.

Thursday 25th October 2012 The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We returned to the discussion about those household charge letters with FG Councillor Irene Winters and Senator David Norris dropped in to talk about his book. We were also joined in studio by local Actor and Conary events organiser Pat Nolan who talked about training for and taking part in the Dublin City Marathon to raise money for the Wicklow Hospice Foundation. 11- 12pm •We were joined in studio by Humphrey Jones one of four authors of charity book ‘A Neutron Walked into a Bar – random facts about our universe and everything in it’ and Vet Pete Wedderburn gave pet advice. We also chatted to Damien Lawless and Aisling Growney about taking part in the Bay2Btay 2012 Challenge where they will run 250km from Galway to Bray with 2 others to raise money and awareness for suicide or survive –we also spoke to Caroline McGuigan CEO Suicide or Survive, to donate online see www.mycharity.ie/event/baytobray2012

Wednesday 24th October 2012 The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We talked to one of our listeners in Avoca about he prepared for the digital switchover just after it happened and Free Legal Advice Centre Noleen Blackwell talked about the need for reform in our social welfare system and the plan for fines payments in installments. We also heard about the Wicklow Walking Festival taking place this weekend from Sheelagh O’ Malley from Footfalls Walking Tours. 11- 12pm •We heard details on the new pension charges from Money Watchdog John Diskin and Escape Boutique’s Sorcha Murphy gave maternity clothes tips to help yummy mummys to-be. We were also joined in studio by comedian Maeve Higgins who talked about her book.

Tuesday 23rd October 2012 The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We heard how the big switch countdown is going from David Maher of www.TradeTV.ie and Raghnall O’ Floinn, Head of Collections at the National Museum of Ireland talked to us about the History of Ireland in 100 objects exhibition. Money watchdog John Diskin gave advice on how to best stretch cash following the recent Credit Union Survey reflecting how many households have €100 or less at the end of each month after all the bills are paid. 11- 12pm •We heard reaction to last nights US presidential debate and Wicklow returning Officer Patricia Casey told us how today was the last day to get yourself on to the electoral register ahead of the next Referendum if you are not already on it. East Coast Physio Avril Barrett also dropped in to give last minute tips for the marathon and told us why our work stations can be bad for us.

Monday 22nd October 2012 The Morning Show with Declan Meehan 10- 11am •We heard from Tuam Councillor Tom Mc Hugh following the tragic death of two children there yesterday and we discussed the importance of drug driving tests with A&E Consultant Dr Chris Luke. We were also joined in studio by Mediator and Conflict Coach Fiona McAuslen dropped in to talk about her new book about living with separation. 11- 12pm •We discussed low price medicines with IPU Vice President Cathy Meagher and Supernanny Niamh O’ Reilly dropped in to give advice on dealing with sleep disruption during next weekends clock change. We were also joined in studio by Johrnalist and Broadcaster Joe O’ Shea who talked about his book ‘murder, mutiny and mayhem concerning the affairs of the blackest hearted villains from Irish History.
