•We spoke to Money Doctor John Lowe about property tax and Margaret Byrne from Bushy Farm in Delgany and IFA Poultry Commodity Spokesperson discussed why so many cafĂ©, deli and restaurant chickens are imported. We also heard about ‘food addiction’ from Prof Julian Mercer, Rowett Institute of Nutrition and Health.

11- 12pm
•We were joined by Wicklow Celebrity Chef Catherine Fulvio who talked about life, career and her multi-award winning cookery school and we took a nostalgiac walk down memory lane when former Rugby International Shane Byrne, PR gure Gill Godsil and Former Professional Boxer Jim Rock dropped in to discuss school days and favourite teenage tunes.

•We spoke to Irish Independent Security Editor, Tom Brady about the dawn raids and arrests which took place this morning relating to the events at Alan Ryans funeral and Liverpool Fan John Story gave his view on Hillsborough report. We were also joined in studio by GGA star Oisin McConville who talked about his recovery fro gambling addiction and Ireland’s 1st ever Recovery Walk being held on Saturday 15th of September.



11- 12pm
•We discussed Roald Dahl day with Childrens Book Consultant Sarah Webb and Vet Pete Wedderburn dropped in to talk about safety amongst pets and children.

•We spoke to Accident and Emergency Consultant Dr Chris Luke about the worrying rise in drug taking and the alleged ‘bad batch’ of drugs currently believed to be in circulation and we were joined in studio by Sleep Nanny Edel Gargan who gaive advice on dumping the dummy and answered listeners questions.

•We discussed why first time buyers may have a better chance of securing a mortgage if they have put off having children with Irish Mortgage Brokers spokesperson Karl Deeter and we heard why low GI foods and high fibre are important for pregnant women from Dr Laurence Wood, obstetrician in Universtiy Hopsital Coventry. We also heard about some of the 86 new words including amazeballs and mummy porn that will be added to Collins Dictionary from UCD Linguistics Lecturer Feargal Murphy.

11- 12pm
•We were joined BY Money Watchdog John Diskin who gave details on the much-talked about property tax and East Coast Physio Avril Barrett reminded us why we should be doing less sitting down and tips to stay active. We also discussed the rise of sales in charity shops with SVP Regional Retail Manager Dermot McGilloway.

We also discussed World Suicide Awareness Day with Oisin Scollard, CEO Turn2Me and AA’s Conor Faughan talked about driving distractions.

•We were joined in studio by Parenting Coach Marian Byrne who talked about learning outside school and Gardener John Stephenson dropped in to give September advice to the green fingered. We were also joined in studio by The Shoos for a chat about their new album and festival gigs.
