•We were joined in studio by Sorcha Murphy of Escape Boutique who gave advice on looking good while working out and talked about celebrity endorsements of gym gear and designer labels for Team GB. We spoke to Founder of www.windowblindssafety.ie Aaron O’ Connell following the release of new safety guidelines for window blinds by the National Standards Authority of Ireland and discussed the rise in break-ins and the plan of action with Greystones Joint Policing Committee Chairman; Tom Fortune.

11- 12pm
•Bray Wanderers Director of Football Pat Devlin joined us as our Friday guest to talk about his career, football and looking after Damien Duff and Katie Taylor. We also discussed the return of premiership football with Barry Orr, Betfair and caught up with Wicklow Olympian from her US home, Steph Reilly.

•We spoke to Science Blogger Sean Duke about the rise in the uptake of science based subjects and this years Leaving Cert results and we heard tips on special interest breaks and holidays, such as cycling and cookery from Holiday Doc Joe Supple. We also caught up with Wicklow-born, Leicester based Equestrian Olympian Mark Kyle from the Dublin Horse Show.

11- 12pm
•We spoke to Trish and Billy Mooney who joined us in studio to talk about losong their son Gareth to suicide in July 2010 and their campaign to have that on his death cert and make it count. We were alos joined by Wicklow band Perfect Friction who will perform in a battle of the bands in Cavan Fleadh tomorrow night.

•We spoke to Leaving Cert student Sorcha about receiving her results and we got advice on dealing with disappointing results from Parenting Coach Marian Byrne and where to next for all students from Career Guidance Counsellor, Patricia Wroe. We also heard plans in place for todays severe weather warning from Greystones Cllr and Mayor Kathleen Kelleher and Arklow Cllr Donal o’ Sullivan.

•We spoke to couple Dave Thomas and Patrick Bracken about the process of fostering and being the first same sex couple to have a civil partnership in Arklow and we caught up with Stepehn Roche ahead of his participation in charity cycle this weekend ‘the leinster loop’

•We spoke to Irish Daily Soccer Correspondent Paul Lennon and sports Broadcaster and Journalist Declan King about Shay Givens retirement announcement. We also heard details on Katie’s Bray homecoming from East Coast reporter, Laura Wood and Oldcourt resident Gareth Fane and were joined in studio by Lorcan O’ Rourke who talked about Katie’s contribution to his charity book “My Great Sporting Memories – from local club to Olympic games”

11- 12pm
•We spoke to Niamh Kelly from Protest against Child Benefit Cuts about the Governments latest proposal to reform child benefit and Money Watchdog John Diskin joined us in studio to give advice on budgeting for back to school costs. We were also joined in studio by East Coast Physio Avril Barrett who gave tips for those thinking of taking up or returning to exercise after Olympic fever.
