•We spoke to Sligo IT Lecturer in Sociology, Criminology and Human Rights, Liam Leonard about the rise in unprovoked and random acts of crime and violence following his address at yesterdays Irish Criminology Conference at UCD and we were joined in studio by Sheelagh O’Malley from Footfalls Walking Tours who gave advice and tips to keen walkers. We also discussed the new personal insolvency rules and the latest Eurozone drama.


11- 12pm
•We were joined in studio by The Nuala’s Sue Collins for a chat and we checked in with the on-going Ulster Bank saga.

•We spoke to FG Councillor Derek Mitchell about Dublin bus agreeing to look at the recent changes made to local buses and Simon Grehan, Internet Safety Project Officer from the National Centre for Technology and Education talked about how thousands of young children fake their ages to access social networking sites according to recent DIT report.


11- 12pm
•We were joined in studio for a live performance by the Riptide Movement and Donnellies Chef Siobhan Donnelly gave us some healthy and tasty tips on low-carb meals. We were also joined in studio by Enniskerry author Emily Gilmore Murphy who talked about her debut novel You and I and what it’s like to be a published author at only 21.

•We spoke to Derry based journalist Eamonn McDermott about the Queens visit to Northern Ireland and meeting with Martin Mc Guinness and Fashion blogger Annemarie Boyhan gave her thoughts on how people dress after they’re married and Kate Moss’s comments on dressing like a wife. Easy Food editor Dee Laffin and Easy Health Editor Emma Parkin talked about sugar addiction and how it can cause mood swings and obesity.

•We were joined in studio by local solicitor Manus Bray who talked about separation and we also spoke to “Voices by the Sea” event organiser Dave Pennefeather, Classical Guitarist Pat Coldrick and Peter McParlon of Greystones Rugby Club about this weekends Greystones event.

•We talked about Ireland having the highest birth rate in the EU and the age most women are starting a family at with ESRI Spokesperson Sheelagh Bonham and we heard tribute paid to Wicklow man Lenny Doughton who lost his life in a tragic fall from mountaisn in Switzerland on Saturday from his friend Henry Clarke.

•We spoke to Blessington man and former GAA Manager Jimmy Callaghan ahead of the funeral of James Nolan, who lost his life in a tragic accident in Poland last week. We also discussed the on-going problems with Ulster Bank and ISME CEO Mark Fielding gave his views on Minister Joan Burton’s proposal for employees to see a work GP for a sick cert.


11- 12pm

•Parenting Coach Marian Byrne joined us in studio to give advice on keeping the kids busy during the summer months and we heard what you should be wary of on your skin from Mike Malone, MD with the Mole Mapping Clinic.
