•Following the controversial report on Tallaght Hospital we heard from Irish Patients Association, Stephen McMahon and Former Rugby International, Shane Byrne came on ahead of the match this weekend. We discussed this weeks contrasting reports on cholesterol with the Irish Heart Foundation, Medical Director Dr Angie Brown.

11- 12pm
•We were joined in studio by Greystones butcher Des Doyle who recently won another award and Easy Health Editor, Emma Parkin dropped in to give advice on releasing your inner bitch and Easy Food Editor, Dee Laffin gave us tips on using up your store cupboard staples.

•Following Finance Minister Michael Noonan’s comments on how little we rely on Greece here, we spoke to Greek businessman living in Ireland about his running his Restaurant and the difficulty he faces importing certain goods from Greece. We were also joined by Science blogger Sean Duke who talked about twins and we discussed the potential future fortune of Facebook with technological consultant Damien Mulley.


11- 12pm

•We were joined in studio by Holiday Doctor Joe Supple and Umberto Di Venosa, Managing Director, Camino Walk to talk about the camino walks and Vet Pete Wedderburn dropped in to chat about foxes and help a distressed listener who had a Muscovy duck on his roof.

•We spoke to Pete Taylor and Adam Nolan in China about the fantastic news that Katie is now a 2012 Olympian and we discussed illegal dumping on the N11 and the cost of cleaning up household waste and soiled nappies amongst other things with Wicklow County Council Environmental Awareness Officer, Moira Byrne and local Councillor Derek Mitchell.

11- 12pm

•We were joined in studio by Film Director Maurice Linnance who talked about his career, working with U2 and his new movie “Kiss for Jed Wood” which hits Irish cinema this weekend and Chef Siobhan Donnelly joined us to give cooking tips to those of us sick of stews and too cold for barbecuing. We also heard tribute from Michael Ruttle, friend and sporting colleague of the late Garda Ciaran Jones who lost his life while aiding motorists during the floods in October last year at Ballysmutten Bridge, the bridge is being re-opened today in memory of Ciaran.

•We heard a warning about bogus money collectors who are going door to door in the bray area claiming to be collecting on behalf of Bray Lakers from Lakers CEO Louis O’ Rourke and we were joined in studio by Author Kathleen Mc Mahon about her new best selling book “This is How it Ends”.
