•We were joined in Roundwood in Byrnes and Wood bar and Restaurant by Local school principal Jane O’ Brien, Mick Kelly and Shane Phelan of Wicklownews.net and successful dragons den candidate and local businessman Paul Jacob to chat about the news and the weekend. We also heard about An Tochar GAA from Shay Nolan and heard some music from Pat Coldrick ahead of his gig at Hotspot CafĂ© on Saturday night.

11- 12pm
•We heard about ecologically friendly homes of the future from Derek Morrin, Wolohan Homes and Singer Hazel o’ Connor joined us in Roundwood to talk about her life, career and gig in Conary Arts Centre on Saturday night. We also heard about this weekend’s Shay Elliot memorial cycle race from participant Linus Devlin and got a live performance from Mack Fleetwood.

•Singer Paddy Cole gave us details of his experience at Abbeville which is up for sale again and we were joined in studio by Rio Hegarty who talked about her life, how to date she has fostered up to 140 children and her book “Beneath my Wings – The Rio Hegarty Story”.

11- 12pm
•We discussed the rise in the number of young people looking for help with mental health problems with Founder of Pieta House, Joan Freeman and we heard tribute to celebrity hair stylist Vidal Sassoon from his former student Tony Rogers .

•We heard reaction to Eamonn O’ Cuiv’s “big” announcement from FF Councillor Pat Casey and we discussed rural broadband and saorview TV with listeners, CEO Irish Rural Link Seamus Boland and FG Deputy Andrew Doyle.

11- 12pm

•Bob Flavin from TheNextGear.com talked about the google car and McCann Financial Consultant, Donal O’ Sullivan gave advice on spring cleaning your finances. We also spoke to gardener Paul Sexton about 60 years in business and gardening tips.

•We returned to our discussion about the future of the first responders with listeners who had used their services and some more Wicklow volunteer members of the organisation. We also heard the views of local Fianna Fail Councillor Pat Fitzgerald on party colleague Eamonn O’ Cuiv.

11- 12pm
•Parenting Coach Marian Byrne talked to us about dealing with determined children and Athens based accountant Kostas Katsaros told us what it’s like in Greece at the moment following events over the last few days. We were also joined by Bray Gospel Choir for a live performance ahead of the Gospel Rising Festival taking place this weekend 11-13th May.
