Niamh's Week 7 Questionnaire

How are you feeling with one week to go?

I cant believe I have only 1 week left, it has flown in! Its been great :)

What's your favourite exercise/class at the moment?

I must say that my favourite class was the Zumba and Boxcercise. I really enjoyed them, I also really like the treadmill.

Are you still sore and if yes, where?

No I cant say I'm sore anywhere in particular, my body has really come accustomed to the gym and I'm really enjoying it still.

What are the main changes you've seen in yourself?

My clothes sizes are going down. I have so much more energy than ever before and really enjoy playing with my nieces and being able to run around chasing them without being out of breath!

Have you been motivated this week?

Yes the motivation is still great and my trainer is very supportive.

Are you still missing certain foods?

No not missing anything, its amazing how your cravings and wants for different foods can change without you even thinking about it, if that makes any sense.

With just one week to go, do you feel confident of meeting your goal?

Yes, I'm really delighted about how I'm getting on, I will be near enough to my goal and I'm very proud of myself :)

Do you feel ready for taking on the final task of Bray Head!?

Bray Head is going to be tough but I'm going to give it a pre-run before the main event. I'm feeling slightly anxious but I know I can do it!

Have you any helpful tips for our listeners?

I found one or two weeks tougher than the others but I've kept going. My tip for listeners, and myself, would be if you fall off the wagon just jump back on as it will be totally worth it!

Jenny's Week 7 Questionnaire

How are you feeling with one week to go?

Great can't believe I have stuck to it and enjoying to.

What's your favourite exercise/class at the moment?

Kettlebells and hopefully Bootcamp (yet to do that class).

Are you still sore and if yes, where?

Not really any more.

What are the main changes you've seen in yourself?

I have so much more energy and feel great.

Have you been motivated this week?

Yes

Are you still missing certain foods?

Nothing in particular.

With just one week to go, do you feel confident of meeting your goal?

I have already as I can now run on a treadmill.. hahaha!

Do you feel ready for taking on the final task of Bray Head!?

Yeah, I had a practice run the other day and it's not easy but sure it's a bit of

fun and we will feel great once we get to the top.

Have you any helpful tips for our listeners?

DON'T GIVE UP!!!!!!

Irene's Week 7 Questionnaire

How are you feeling with one week to go?

I am feeling brilliant at the moment. Everyone is commenting on how well I look and how much weight I have lost, especially those that haven't seen me in a few weeks! I am wearing clothes that haven't fitted me in years and am enjoying browsing the shops for clothes to wear on my summer holiday!

What's your favourite exercise/class at the moment?

I am still enjoying my Sunday morning personal training classes with Amira. We also did Bootcamp this week, which was really hard but great fun. We had to run up and down the stairs outside the gym 10 times, I can't believe I did it! I could barely walk up those stairs the first week!

Are you still sore and if yes, where?

I was very sore after the Bootcamp, especially my legs! Apart from that I haven't been too sore, I think my body is finally adjusting and getting used to working out!

What are the main changes you've seen in yourself?

I can see and feel that I have lost weight. I feel more energetic, happier and confident in myself. I carried my grandson up the stairs to bed for the first time since he was small, which I couldn't do 6 weeks ago. I also have more energy to play with my grand children, which I am thrilled about.

Have you been motivated this week?

Definitely, only a motivated person would have done the Bootcamp!

Are you still missing certain foods?

Not anymore, thankfully.

With just one week to go, do you feel confident of meeting your goal?

I am confident yes, and whether I do or don't reach my ideal weight by then, it doesn't really matter as I plan to continue with my workouts after this challenge finishes.

Do you feel ready for taking on the final task of Bray Head!?

I think so! My son is coming with me for moral support so that will help! It should be a great day for everyone and a brilliant way to prove just how far we have come since starting this challenge 6 weeks ago.

Have you any helpful tips for our listeners?

No matter how hard it is to get started on a diet and fitness regime, it really does get easier, and with perseverance you will see some amazing results. It also helps to have other people around you to motivate you, so it would probably be helpful to join a gym with a friend to support each other. I know that if it wasn't for Rob, Laura and my other 5 gym buddies, these 6 weeks would have been harder, as we are all a great source of support for each other.

Georgina's Week 7 Questionnaire

How are you feeling with one week to go?

Really delighted with myself.

What's your favourite exercise/class at the moment?

I loved the Pilates and Zumba.

Are you still sore and if yes, where?

Yes, I'm unbelievably sore after doing Bootcamp with Graham.

What are the main changes you've seen in yourself?

My measurements have reduced greatly.

Have you been motivated this week?

Hard with kids off school but very motivated.

Are you still missing certain foods?

Not really any more.

With just one week to go, do you feel confident of meeting your goal?

I said 1 or 2 st and have lost 1 so yes, I am happy. I'm thrilled in fact as I've dropped 2 dress sizes.

Do you feel ready for taking on the final task of Bray Head!?

As ready as I'll ever be! Its hard.

Have you any helpful tips for our listeners?

If you set your mind to it you'll achieve anything u want.

David's Week 7 Questionnaire

How are you feeling with one week to go?
Sad, really going to miss this but I have to say I've never felt or looked better.

What's your favourite exercise/class at the moment?
Out door running and weight training.

Are you still sore and if yes, where?
Nowhere thank God. I'm well over the pain stage.

What are the main changes you've seen in yourself?
I now have muscle definition and my diet is now part of my every day routine so I will be keeping it up after the challenge.

Have you been motivated this week?
I don't get a chance to be unmotivated. Graham my trainer is a pain.. call, text, call, text he is never off the phone to me.

Are you still missing certain foods?
Not at this stage. Staying away from the wrong foods is part of my average day now.

With just one week to go, do you feel confident of meeting your goal?
Very, 2pounds to go.

Do you feel ready for taking on the final task of Bray Head!?
Really looking forward to it.

Have you any helpful tips for our listeners?
It's April now and people thinking of losing weight and toning up for their summer holidays should do this challenge. If they start next week they will complete the challenge by the end of May. The results I've seen have been beyond what I expected.
