David's Week 4 Questionnaire

Now you're at the half-way mark, have things gotten any easier?
I have to yes and no. The diet has got easier to manage but the training has increased in intensity.

Are you still enjoying it? I am even more now.

How do you feel, body and mind? Body feels tighter, mind is clearer and getting up in the morning is no longer a struggle.

Are you sore and if yes, where?

My knees are wreaked, Fit mix class on Monday was pure torture.

What food do you miss most, if any?
A big DURTY fry. Loads of sausages, rashers, fried eggs, mushrooms and a tomato for decoration.

Have you broken any/many rules?
Yes, While in Liverpool on Tuesday I had a McDonald’s and I felt awful for eating it, Even though it was so good.

What has been the highlight of your week?

Seeing my measurements on Friday morning and knowing I’ve lost 7inchs from my chest. My mobs are disappearing.

Do you still feel motivated enough?

I've no choice Graham my trainer is never off the phone to me.

Have you any helpful information for our listeners?
Treat yourself once a week. On a Friday night have a take away as long as you have put in the work through out the week. Otherwise you will break.

Georgina's Week 4 Questionnaire

Now you're at the half-way mark, have things gotten any easier?

It is easier now . Its just a part of my every day now.

Are you still enjoying it?
Loving every minute of it.

How do you feel, body and mind?

I feel in much better form, have so much more energy and not as narky lol (so my mother said )

Are you sore and if yes, where?

Nope not sore anymore, maybe I need to work harder.

What food do you miss most, if any?

Not missing much apart from a craving for a packet of crisps yesterday.

Have you broken any/many rules?
No rule breaking this week yet.

What has been the highlight of your week?
I loved the pilates classes.

Do you still feel motivated enough?
Havent been well this week. Also had kids home from school couple of days so didnt do as much as I wud have liked.

Believe in urself that you can do it. Dont give up.

Irene's Week 4 Questionnaire

Now you're at the half-way mark, have things gotten any easier?

It has gotten easier in that I am much more capable of doing the exercises now that I am getting fitter, but at the same time the exercises are getting harder day by day!

How did you get on this week?

I got on well this week, I noticed that I am finding the exercises much easier than I did at the start, and can even hold a full conversation now while working out on the cross trainer!

Are you enjoying it and how do you feel?

I am still enjoying it, and I am feeling better and better each week!

Are you sore and if yes, where?
Thankfully I am not too sore this week, apart from the occasional twinge from my stomach muscles!

What food do you miss most if any?

I miss eating bread, as I used to eat sandwiches fairly regularly. I have found it hard to find a substitute for bread, and miss how easy it was to just throw a sandwich together if I was hungry.

Have you broken any rules?

Yes, I drove down to Waterford earlier in the week and on the way home I couldn't resist stopping and buying a burger for myself! And I have been so good lately that I didn't even feel guilty!

What has been the highlight of the week?

When my trainer told me that she could see a significant reduction in my weight. It made me feel really good to know that she could see the difference.

Have you been motivated enough?

I think so, yes.

Any information that you feel might be helpful to listeners?

Just that it is important to keep exercising and to watch what you eat. And I learned this week that it is okay to have the occasional treat, as long as you are sticking to your diet and exercise routine. I had a burger this week and was dreading my personal trainer finding out, but she just said that it was alright to eat things like that in moderation.

Jenny's Week 4 Questionnaire

Now you're at the half-way mark, have things gotten any easier?

No this week was tougher than ever as I missed a few days as I was sick so its like starting all over again, Can’t walk!!!!!!!

How did you get on this week?

Great shaved some time of my fitness tests so I am delighted.

Are you enjoying it? How do you feel?

Great glad to be back in the swing of things.

Are you sore and if so where?

My legs and lower body.

What food do you miss most if any?

Everything hahahaha!!!!!!!

Have you broken any/many rules?

Yeah a good few as I wasn’t well and was craving everything.

What has been the highlight of the week for you?

That I am back in the gym as I had missed the sessions and talking to the others about how they are getting on.

Have you been motivated enough?

Getting there!

Any other information you think might be helpful to share with the listeners?

Its amazing if you take a break from the gym and diet how hard it is to get back into it so speaking from experience try not to allow yourself to fall off the wagon as its so much tougher once your off it to get back into the zone.

Niamh's Week 4 Questionnaire

Now you're at the half-way mark, have things gotten any easier?
Yes things have gotten easier this week, I cant believe we are mid way through week 4 already!!

Are you still enjoying it?
Yes I am enjoying it, I'm enjoying getting the opportunities to try all the different classes and all the different machines.

How do you feel, body and mind?
I feel great in body and mind, I feel like I have new found energy and more motivated in lots of ways which is a great feeling.

Are you sore and if yes, where?
No not sore as in pain sore but I definitly feel good after the workouts and classes every week.

What food do you miss most, if any?
To be honest I'm not missing anything really in particular, I'm not craving for anything any more and cant believe that my want for sugar isn't as bad anymore.

Have you broken any/many rules?

No, I haven't broken any rules, I'm allowed one treat meal which I have at the weekend, I don't go crazy but I do have something I like.

What has been the highlight of your week?

The highlight of my week was doing a Pilates Class, I always wanted to try one. I found it a bit tricky but it was a good experience.

Do you still feel motivated enough?

Yes there is a lot of motivation from all the trainers and everyone in the group, everyone is doing great.

Have you any helpful information for our listeners?

To be honest, I cant think of any new types but I found that between meals I am definitly a bit peckish so do have snacks at the ready.

As I replied to the text, I'm sorry I asked!!

Jenny's Week 3 Questionnaire

Now you're in week 3, has it gotten any easier?

At the end of week two I was delighted that I was no longer in pain and thought this is great!!! Until I was given new exercises to do and then I couldn’t even hold a pen the next day my arms were that sore.

How did you get on this week?

Did quite well at the start of the week and then got a bug so had to take it easy for a few days so a bit disappointed I missed out on group session.

Are you enjoying it? How do you feel?

Feeling a little bit better today so I am hoping that my energy levels will pick up and Ill get back into the swing of it ASAP again, cause missing a few days feels like starting all over again (dreading the pain factor).

Are you sore and if so where?

Just my shoulder blades and my arms

What food do you miss most if any?

Anything sweet finding it a bit hard to resist temptation.

Have you broken any/many rules?

Don’t ask (too many).

What has been the highlight of the week for you?

Well at the start of the week I was able to do so much more than I was doing on week 2 it’s a great feeling.

Have you been motivated enough?

NOT THIS WEEK

Any other information you think might be helpful to share with the listeners?

Even when your not feeling great, try and stay on track and exercise. I am still not 100 % today but I am making myself head back to the gym as the longer I leave it the harder it will be to get back into it, and remember just keep telling yourself it will be all worth it in the end (I HOPE) HAHA!!
