•We discussed the new rules that allows the use of reasonable force against intruders in your own home with Seamus Boland, Irish Rural Link and FG TD Billy Timmins. Dietician Sarah Keogh talked about the benefits of fish and a recent study that claims eating fish can boost the brain power of unborn babies and Technological Consultant Damien Mulley gave advice on protecting your smartphone, twitter and facebook from fraud.
11- 12am

•We spoke to Wicklow Mum Lisa Domican about winning a social entrepneur award for the app she designed with her daughter Grace for people with autism and we tasted some wine for the weekend. We were also joined in studio by local broadcaster, musician and author Joe Bollard for our Friday person interview.

•We spoke to some of Wicklow’s young scientists taking part in this years’ exhibition. We also heard some of the best things about Ireland according to the latest edition of top travel guide the Lonely Planet from the guides co-ordinating author Fionn Davenport, we spoke to George Mc Clafferty from Glendalough Visitors Centre about being featured in the new edition and Fred Verdier of Visitwicklow.ie reminded us why Wicklow is a great tourism spot.

11- 12am

•Irish Banking Ofifcials Association, General Secretary, Larry Broderick gave us his reaction to the announcement of job cuts for Ulster Bank and we spoke to more young Wicklow Scientists. We also got pet care tips from Vet Pete Wedderburn and Chef Siobhan Donnelly gave us advice on food spring cleaning.

•We discussed assisted suicide and the issues surrounding it with Wicklow man and Exit International spokesperson Tom Curran, local Solicitor Mark Felton and Seargent John Fitzpatrick. We also heard views from political analyst, Susan Philips and Director of Research with the National Suicide Foundation.

•We discussed the various ways people watch movies and spoke to Reid Hastings, CEO Netflix ahead of their Irish launch. We also discussed the future of the euro and when we may recover with Independent TD, Stephen Donnelly.

•We spoke to Dr Tom Kavanagh Chairman Irish Business Against Litter about how Wicklow did in the latest survey. We were also joined by Parenting Coach Marian Byrne who talked about the importance of play time and mediator and barrister Rachel Feehily dropped in to talk about her book “Split - True Stories of Relationship Breakdown in Ireland.
