•We spoke to May Quaid, President of Active Retirement Ireland about why more and more elderly people are struggling to sleep with worries about crime and the cost of fuel and we discussed divorce with local solicitor Manus Bray. We also talked about a TCD study into the attitudes of cyclists with Trinity researcher, Dr Bidisha Ghosh, and Mike McKillen of Dublin Cycling Campaign.
11- 12pm
•We discussed the dating game and singles finding love with the Modern Matchmaker Avril Mulcahy ahead of her trip to Wicklow’s Grand Hotel this evening and we were joined in studio by Wicklow Chef Siobhan Donnelly who gave advice on easy summer burgers and barbecuing pineapples and vegetarian dishes. We were also joind by singer/songwriter Mick Flannery who chatted about his new album and performed live.
