10- 11am

•We spoke to Pete Taylor and Adam Nolan in China about the fantastic news that Katie is now a 2012 Olympian and we discussed illegal dumping on the N11 and the cost of cleaning up household waste and soiled nappies amongst other things with Wicklow County Council Environmental Awareness Officer, Moira Byrne and local Councillor Derek Mitchell.

•We were joined in studio by Film Director Maurice Linnance who talked about his career, working with U2 and his new movie “Kiss for Jed Wood” which hits Irish cinema this weekend and Chef Siobhan Donnelly joined us to give cooking tips to those of us sick of stews and too cold for barbecuing. We also heard tribute from Michael Ruttle, friend and sporting colleague of the late Garda Ciaran Jones who lost his life while aiding motorists during the floods in October last year at Ballysmutten Bridge, the bridge is being re-opened today in memory of Ciaran.
