Niamh's week 2 questionnaire



Has it got any easier now you're in week two?

To be honest I found the first few days of week 2 a little difficult, I think the reality of the challenge set in!! im taking it a week at a time and its working for me doing it that way.


How did you get on this week?

Im getting on grand food wise and the excercising is becoming more enjoyable if that’s the right word to describe it lol. I do feel as the days go by a little better in myself and less sluggish


Are you enjoying it? How do you feel?

I do enjoy it, having good days and bad days but mostly good, im just thinking of my goals and why im doing this everytime im feeling a little sorry for myself.


Are you sore and if so where?

My legs are the sorest after the workouts so a lovely radox bath usually helps soothe that problem but apart from that im feeling fine after the gym


What food do you miss most if any?

I actually feel sorry for pregnant women as from time to time the cravings can be shocking, it could be 10 in the morning and all I want is a Big Mac!! Or after a hectic day in work I would love something bold for dinner but then distract my train of thought with the gym, I work through my hectic days in work in the gym rather than eat through it at home.

Have you broken any/many rules?!

No I have been good to be honest, anything I do eat is part of the healthy eating plan for me, if I tucked into something bold the Guilt would eat through me!


What has been the highlight of the week for you?

The highlight of my week was being able to stand on the bikes during spinning on tues night as I couldn’t do that on the thurs before. I was working out for an hour and a half last night and was still alive by the end of it so happy days!


Have you been motivated enough?

Yes I really have, this evening (weds) my legs were really sore but my trainer encouraged me to keep going through the workout and I felt great when I finish albet very tired J


Any other information you think might be helpful to share with the listeners?

Just to take things slowly and do as best you can exercise wise, even if im tired after work I may feel like im dragging myself to the gym to exercise but I feel so good going to bed afterwards knowing that ive done something.
