Irene's Week 5 Questionnaire

How was this week?

This week was pretty good. Still enjoying it!


How are you feeling, are you still enjoying it?

I am actually quite sore today after shadow boxing last night. It was very hard and I used ever muscle in my body. I was in bed last night by 9pm!


What's your favourite exercise at the moment?

The treadmill and the bikes because I am increasing the speed and I feel like I am getting fitter each week as I can up the speed weekly. I am now getting up to 6.5 and feeling tired but great at the achievement.


Are you sore and if yes, where?

It's easier at this moment to say where I am not sore.


Are you still missing certain foods?

No, not as much any more. I am missing white pasta, brown pasta is not the same! My taste buds have changed, foods are not like they used to be. You can taste the salt and sugar content in foods now.


Are you finding it hard to stick with it?

Not any more, it's more enjoyable and even when the 8 week challenge is over I hope to continue with the gym, fitness and diet regime.


What are the main changes you've seen in yourself?

More energy, energy levels are way up. Even though this is true after some classes I find that I am fit for bed, the next morning I am fighting fit again and energy level are up again!


Do you still feel motivated?

Yes, definitely. I find that the more Amira does with me the more motivated and challenged I feel to pass both her expectations and mine.


Do you feel confident of meeting your goal?

Yes, it was a big achievement to get one stone down in four weeks so I believe in the next four weeks I will get this.


Have you any helpful tips for our listeners?

Just get out there and do it. Once you start to see changes it will spur you on. I find the group atmosphere is great as each person helps you feel like you can do it. The pat on the back from the other challengers is a help. Also get a buddy to go along with you for both fun and encouragement.
