Irene's Week 4 Questionnaire

Now you're at the half-way mark, have things gotten any easier?

It has gotten easier in that I am much more capable of doing the exercises now that I am getting fitter, but at the same time the exercises are getting harder day by day!

How did you get on this week?

I got on well this week, I noticed that I am finding the exercises much easier than I did at the start, and can even hold a full conversation now while working out on the cross trainer!

Are you enjoying it and how do you feel?

I am still enjoying it, and I am feeling better and better each week!

Are you sore and if yes, where?
Thankfully I am not too sore this week, apart from the occasional twinge from my stomach muscles!

What food do you miss most if any?

I miss eating bread, as I used to eat sandwiches fairly regularly. I have found it hard to find a substitute for bread, and miss how easy it was to just throw a sandwich together if I was hungry.

Have you broken any rules?

Yes, I drove down to Waterford earlier in the week and on the way home I couldn't resist stopping and buying a burger for myself! And I have been so good lately that I didn't even feel guilty!

What has been the highlight of the week?

When my trainer told me that she could see a significant reduction in my weight. It made me feel really good to know that she could see the difference.

Have you been motivated enough?

I think so, yes.

Any information that you feel might be helpful to listeners?

Just that it is important to keep exercising and to watch what you eat. And I learned this week that it is okay to have the occasional treat, as long as you are sticking to your diet and exercise routine. I had a burger this week and was dreading my personal trainer finding out, but she just said that it was alright to eat things like that in moderation.
