•We got tips on how to use your pumpkins now Hallowe’en is over from Donelies Chef Siobhan Donelly, we ehard how you can save on your grocery bills from Money Watchdog John Diskin and Parenting Coach Marian Byrne joined us to give advice for dealing with children who bite and shared her thoughts on “pest power”, when children control the contents of the shopping trolley.

•Wicklow GAA Manager Tim Healy told us about his new book “How to Manage”, we spoke to the Kilkenny based Cardiologist who discovered George Clooneys Irish roots and ancestral Kilkenny home and we found out how popular Irish favourite food and drink brands are with Irish people living in Australia and how you can get some to them from Fiona Barry of Taste Ireland. Vet Pete Wederburn joined us in studio to tell us why you should lock up your snakes and answer listener queries.

•We spoke to USI President Gary Redmond about the strong full page ad the organisation took out about the reintroduction of fees, we spoke to two Wicklow marathon runners, 1st time participant Elaine Jenkinson and Mary Hickey told us about running for the 32nd time . We were joined by 17 year old Sean Doyle from Wicklow town who talked about being in the final six to win driver of the year and how he learned to drive at only 8 years old.


11- 12am

•Easy Food and Easy Health and Living Editors, Dee Laffin and Emma Parkin told us about the health benefits of garlic and how to prepare a meal with 5 ingredients or less and we spoke to UCD Politics student Brendan Gallagher about occupy dame street and today’s protest and also returned to the fees story with DIT student Ciaran Nevin.
