We were also joined by Presidency hopeful Martin Mc Guinness.

•We were joined for wine tasting by Lynne Coyle of O’ Briens wines and the High Kings dropped in to perform live.

•We got reaction to the Keane Report from Financial Consultant Liam Croke and Felix O’ Regan, Head of Public Affairs, Irish Banking Federation told us the banks are keen to lend to small businesses, Money Advisor Bob Quinn gave his opposing view and we spoke to two listeners about managing their businesses and their difficulties with the banks. We also heard the latest on the worldwide Blackberry meltdown from Technological Consultant Damien Mulley.

• Science Spin’s Sean Duke joined us in studio to talk about the science behind dreams and we spoke to holistic healer Alison Byrne about what certain dreams mean and ESRI Research Assistant Niamh Crilly told us about their latest report which shows people are not better off on the dole then working.

•Crime Author and journalist Paul Williams spoke to us about the 200 explosive and suspicious devices found in 2011 and Author Brian Kennedy joined us to talk about his book “Just Follow the Floodlights – the complete guide to league of Irleand football” with Former Bray Wanderers Player Kieran O’ Brien

•We spoke to one concerned listener about the impact the pension levy was having on her and her family, we discussed the potential Lisbon 3 with Deputies Richard Boyd Barrett and Billy Timmins and East Coast Physio Avril Barrett gave advice on dealing with children and teenage pain and injuries.

•We spoke to Meadhbh Mc Giverns father Joe about her return to Ireland yesterday following her successful liver transplant a month ago, Parenting Coach Marian Byrne told us how to avoid multiple meals at dinner time and deal with fussy eaters who won’t eat their greens and we discussed the future of Wicklow VEC with Chairman Michael Lawlor. We were also joined by Easy Health and Living Editor Emma Parkin and Easy Food Editor Dee Laffin to talk about good and bad fats and cooking with various oils.

•Miriam Kerins, DSPCA joined us to give advice for protecting your pets for hallowe’en, Singer/songwriter Don Mescall dropped in to perform live and husband and wife team Andrew Mangan and Arlene Hunt joined us to talk about their new publishing company and the future of publishing.
