•We talked rugby with former Rugby International Shane Byrne and former East Coast reporter Lauren Kelly in New Zealand and we were joined by Bray Cancer Support CEO, Veronica O’ Leary, Bray based author Ella Griffin and Wicklow Hotelier and FF Cllr Pat Casey for our Stop the Week chat about breast cancer awareness day, the presidency campaign and Steve Jobs. We also heard the latest on Teresa Tracey since her release from prison yesterday from supporter Cormac Lally and Author David Malone joined us to tell us about his book about a little known chilling child murder that took place in 1970’s Ireland.

11- 12am

•Donnellies Chef Siobhan Donnelly joined us to give tips on being versatile with mince, Money Watchdog John Diskin dropped in to give advice on getting discount prices, reduced rates and bargains and we spoke to Presidential hopeful Senator David Norris ahead of his trip to the Garden County today.

•We spoke to Bray mum Joanne Murphy about successful fundraising for her son Adam’s operation which will enable him to finally play soccer, we heard tribute to the late Steve Jobs from technological consultant Damien Mulley and Wicklow Publican Liam Fitzpatrick gave his reaction the court ruling which could mean cheaper pub premier league. We also discussed the future of retailers with so few people spending with local Mandate spokesperson Joe Donnelly and Wicklow Chamber of Commerce President Denis Fielding.

11- 12am

•“Angel Whisperer” Francesca Browne joined us to talk about her experience communicating with angels and her new book, our holiday doc gave his tips for taking the kids on holidays and Vet Pete Wederburn gave pet advice to listeners.

We also heard a review of the new iphone from Silicon Republic Editor John Kennedy and we heard all about keeping hens and square eggs from Margaret Byrne of Bush Farms, Glenealy.

•We heard about this Sunday’s Wicklow ladies all Ireland GAA replay from manager Dominic Leech, Author Sarah Webb chatted about the moods, slang and worries of teenagers and talked about her latest amy greene book and got further reaction to court ruling on football from Wicklow publican Colin Holmes.

•We got further reaction to the planned “fat” tax from Food and Drinks Industry Ireland Director Paul Kelly, Albany Clinic Dietician Sarah Keogh and Wicklow IFA spokesman James Hill and we spoke to Andrea Wilson of the Bray Carers Association about the concerns she has for local carers due to the planned closure of the respite unit of St Colmans Hospital. Also with so many people searching for work, so few jobs available and every job vacancy responded to with thousands of applications we asked Career Coach and Author Brian Mc Ivor to give us advice on building a CV that sets you apart and how to know what is worth applying for.

11- 12am

•We heard why you shouldn’t be embarrassed to haggle and tips to try and get reduced prices for hotel rooms, electrical goods and insurance premiums from National Consumer Association CEO Dermot Jewell, we returned to the issues of scams with another listeners experience, got a preview of the iphone 5 and Greystones author Anna Mc Partlin dropped in to chat about her new book and plans to make cartoons.

Irish Times pricewatcher Conor Pope also talked tipping and Obesity Expert Professor Donal O’ Shea gave us his reaction to the new “fat” tax and his thoughts on the closure of Loughlinstown A&E

•We got more thoughts on the future of Loughlinstown Hopsital A&E and Sunday Independent journalist Tommy Conlon dropped into to talk about the book he wrote with Ronnie Whelan about the footballers life.
