•We were joined in Lawless Hotel in Aughrim by former International Rugby Player Shane Byrne, Anna Cannon from Rainbusters.ie and FG Councillor George Jones for our stop the week discussion about the presidency, HSE sick leave and the rugby .


11- 12am

•We caught up with Aughrim GAA Celebrity Bainnesteoir Amanda Brunker, Coach Eugene O’ Brien and player Rory O’ Brien, Keywest dropped in to perform live and we met a candle maker, chemical-free veg growers and a gluten-free cake baker from the Aughrim Town and County Market which takes place from 10am – 2pm every Saturday at the Park Pavillion.

•We heard about the launch of the new kindle from Techi consultant Damien Mulley and the latest on the completion of the N11 following FG Deputy Andrew Doyle’s meeting with Minister Varadker. We also heard the latest on Teresa Tracey, the pensioner still locked up for not allowing the ESB access to her land from her neighbour and campaigner Roseanne Tyrell.


11- 12am

•Local Irish Dancing Teacher Pauline Fegan gave us her reaction to reports that Irish Dancing wigs can cause baldness, Vet Pete Wederburn answered listener queries including giving advice on a very naughty dog and another who won’t stop barking and Presidential hopeful Michael D Higgins dropped to tell us what he might miss from home if he moves into the Aras.

•Award winning Wicklow Chef Catherine Fulvio dropped in to give advice o sensible shopping and meal planning and chat about her new TV series Catrherine’s Family Kitchen currently being aired and Local Seargent John Fitzpatrick dropped in to talk about the rise in “faked” Iphone robberies and the recent unrest in Bray.

•Miriam Kerins of the DSPCA explained why classroom pets should be discouraged, Technological Consultant Damien Mulley gave us details on Twitter HQ coming to Dublin and we hear tips on catering a dinner party for fussy eaters, guests with allergies and vegetarians from Easy Food editor Dee Laffin and discussed staying alert during the day from Easy Health and Living Editor, Emma Parkin.
