Freshly Squeezed Daily Dilemma

Today's Daily Dilemma on Freshly Squeezed came in from a female listener who unfortunately has lost a friend for what she says is being too honest. The story goes that she heard from a number of sources that her best friends boyfriend was being unfaithful to her. Although she does not have any direct evidence, a friend of theirs saw him at a cinema quite a distance from their house with another girl and she was also told by the girls boyfriend who was on holiday with him recently that he cheated on her then.

Its not the first time he's cheated but her friend has forgiven him before and this time she refuses to believe its happening and says that she is just claiming this because she doesn't think that he is good enough for her. Unfortunately, if her friends boyfriend is cheating, he seems to have won the battle and these two girls have been left with their friendship in tatters.

On Tomorrow's dilemma we hear from Gavin who is very upset about the constant bickering that's been going on in his house about where his first and only child should go to school. He says "my daughter is due to go to primary school next September and even though this is a good while away, the fact that the school's went back recently has re-ignited the argument all over again. We happen to still be living in the same area which we are from and I want him to go to the same primary school as I went to which happens to be a Catholic school and she would prefer him to go where she went which is a Protestant school. The arguing is not so much about the religious aspect of it but more which school would be better for him. We also frequently argue about the public/private option for secondary and which would suit him better. We had promised we would never let it come to this but unfortunately it has and it's caused quite a rift between us. I would appreciate any advice that your listeners may have for me."

If you have any advice for Gavin or have a dilemma that you would like to share with us, please send us an email to studio@eastcoast.fm or give us a call on 1890 303 103.
