Here are the Lads from Keywest who popped into The Morning Show this morning.


10am - 11am
We started the programme with our ‘Stop The Week’ panel discussion. On the panel this Friday were Bert Wright Events Curator from the Mountains To Sea book festival in Dun Laoghaire, Hester Casey food blogger and Frances O’Duffy from Bray Toastmasters. This hour we also chatted to fashion blogger Anne Marie Boylan on festival fashion with Electric Picnic this weekend.

11am - 12pm
This hour we heard all about Sunbeam House and the works that are being done all day today to build a new soccer pitch, a brand new decking area and installing new flooring and a new climbing wall in their gym. Along with that Keywest were in studio to have a chat perform live.

•Wicklow Singer/songwriter husband and wife team; Fiachra Trench and Carmel mc Creagh dropped in ahead of Fiachra’s special 70th birthday party/concert next week to talk about their musical career and working with Paul Mc Cartney, Phil Lynott, The Corrs and Van Morrison amongst others.


11- 12am

•Actress Alanna Kerr dropped in to talk about her part in Dancing Shoes, The Goerge Best Story currently running in The Grand Canal Theatre, Science Spin’s Sean Duke told us why so many of the people turning to the on-line doc with aches and pains are suffering from “Cyberchondria” and ipod docking stations, plasma screen TV’s and giant clocks; just some of the things people think they might be entitled to “take” from hotel bedrooms.

This was followed by Charlie Melia and Tadgh henderson who are Co-Founders of Profitsflow.com profit spoke of their problems they’ve had with the new FÁS internship scheme. Journalist Sue Leonard went through some of those books you must read this summer and into the winter

Donal O’ Sullivan from McCann Finance went through some of the financial stories he has experienced in his professional life. Sargeant John Fitzpatrick had our Garda Update.

Easy Health and Living experts Dee Lafin and Emma Parkin came into the studio for a chat. This hour we also heard about hurricane Irene, and Author Tom Cain spoke to us about his latest book Captive about the crash of Lehman Brothers.
