9 -10am

•Author of Irish Property Buyers Handbook Carol Tallon gave us her reaction to NAMA report and Consumer Association Chief exec Dermot Jewel gave us his thoughgts on gas price hikes. We were also joined in studio by Greystones Councillor Ciaran Hayden, Business owner Anne Marie Holland and Mary O’Carolan, Bray Area Partnership to discuss the stories of the last seven days in our stop the week slot.


10 – 11am

•Technological consultant Damien Mulley gave us his thoughts on the on-line silence proposed by some members of the social networking community as a mark of respect for victims of last weeks tragedy in Norway. We also had a live cooking demo in the studio from Druidchef’s Ruairí ó Moracháin and Espalande Head chef Sean Nelson ahead of this weekends Bray’s Bia Galore Food Festival and holiday doc Joe Supple and Soap Queen Anne Kennedy joined Declan for the taste test.


11 – 12am

•We heard a review of the newest movie releases from film fan Jimmy Lynch, Singer and author Georgette Jones popped in to tell us about her autobiography which tells the story of growing up with famous parents George Jones and Tammy Wynette and we heard the latest from the Irish Open.

•Dr Michael Collins, Economics Lecturer Trinity College and former member of taxation commission talked to us about the future of property tax and other household charges and Money Doctor John Lowe also went over the nuts and bolts of property tax aswell as giving his comments on the hire purchase ruling, todays NAMA report and news of no charges into anglo inquiry



10 – 11am
•Former Sunday Tribune Journalist David Kenny dropped in tot alk about compilation book The Trib and Golf correspondent Walter Towsnon filled us in on the Irish Open so far.

11 – 12am
•Miriam Keirns, DSPCA joined us in studio to talk about protecting your kids from strange dogs, introducing your dog to your new baby/grandchild and toddlers, tantrums and the family pet and Helath and Fitness consultant Helen Walsh gave us advice for avoiding energy drain.

Keith Barry joined Declan for a chat about his show and performed some magic as well.

9am - 10am
Producer Claire Darmody joined Declan in the studio to go through the stories of the day and a review of the papers. Damien Mulley,Technology expert from mulley.net gave us an update on all things Apple.

10am - 11am
Keith Barry came into the studio to talk to Declan about his current show in the Olympia called ‘8 Deadly Sins’ while food blogger Hester Casey from Roundwood came into talk to Declan about setting up blogs and how to use facebook and twitter to link into her blog. We continued with the food theme at the start of this hour, when Stephen McCabe from McCabe coffee in Newtown, Emma Gray and Gilles Gallow from Gillot and Gabes pizza’s in Greystones chatted about the food business they’ve both started and John Coulter who writes with The Irish Daily Star told us about Irish right wing extremists

Mary Byrne was on the line with Declan to tell the listeners about her upcoming appearance in Greece at the Grand Canal Theatre

We started off the programme with Political Correspondant from Newstalk Network News Padraic Gallagher on the summer recess that TD’s are on and what’s happening during the summer. After the half 9 headlines Margaret Doyle from the Revenue Commissioners came on to explain the crackdown on people in the black market.

10am - 11am
East Coast FM morning Show reporter Laura Wood was down in Arklow this morning down at the sewage plant with Donal O’Sullivan and once that was over it was down to the Main Street where there are proposals to make the street one way.

11am - 12pm
Mary Byrne of X Factor fame was on the line to tell us about her upcoming appearance in Greace in Grand Canal Theatre and Cllr Tom Fortune told us about a special meeting held by Greystones and District Credit Union with regards to the closure of the Kilcoole and Newtown branches

9am - 10am
This morning we heard from Raymond Byrne, who’s a director at the Law Reform Commission on their recommendations to change laws to give medical consent to 16 and 17 year old teens.
This was followed by the panel discussion. On the Panel today were Blogger Barbara Scully, conflict coach Fiona McAuslen and Donal O’Sullivan from McCann Financial consultants.

10am - 11am
Fiona McAuslen conflict coach stayed on from the panel to talk to Declan about family seperation. This was followed by East Coast FM Morning Show reporter Laura Wood talking to Terry Cullen from the Beach House in Greystone about the Americana roots festival that’s taking place in Greystones over the August bank holiday weekend.

11am - 12pm
Stuart Clark from Hotpress talked to us about the time he interviewed the late Amy Winehouse and his experience of talking to her, and musician Ciara Sidine popped in for a chat with Declan and she also performed for us.
