Pugwash came into the studio for a bit of banter and muisic with Declan Meehan


9am - 10am
On The Friday Panel this week we were joined by Mick Glynn, organiser of Bray Summerfest, from Annette Plunket, W.H. Five Loaves and musician Sean Millar

10am - 11am
After the 10’ O Clock news headlines we heard from Prof. Chris Reid from Plymouth University who along with other researchers found a large decline in marine wildlife in our oceans. This was followed by author C.J Fox. who was over from the USA.

11am - 12pm
The Money Wathchdog John Disken talkled to Declan about how to manage your credit card and Declan was joined by the band Pugwash in studio.

•Morning Show Producer Claire Darmody commented on the headlines of today’s papers, which were dominated by the Taoiseach’s speech about the Vatican. (the speech was played on the show just after 9am)
•Accident and Emergency Consultant, Dr Chris Luke and Irish Patients Association CEO Stephen McMahon also joined us to discuss the potential threat to patients due to the current doctor shortage and the influx of new doctors to deal with this issue following on from yesterday’s newspaper reports of a Doctor who was unable to find a patients pulse.


10 – 11am

•We returned to Enda Kenny’s words against the Vatican when we heard reaction to the speech from Arklow Parish Priest Fr Martin Cosgrave and One in Four Director, Maeve Lewis.
•Science Spin co-editor, Sean Duke told us why happiness may be a woman being slimmer then her partner.
•We also heard why The Orchard Nursing Home will not serve as the new premise for Bray Cancer Support Centre for the moment, this news came following a meeting with the HSE, TD’s and the support group team yesterday.

11 – 12noon

•Donnellies Chef Siobhan Donnelly joined us to give us tips on summer weekend breakfasts
•Holiday Doc Joe Supple talked about Greece as a destination for a break

Dr. Ciara Kelly talked about fertility issues and sexually transmitted diseases while Cllr. Barry Nevin and Cllr. David Grant discussed a Compulsory Purchase Order of €6 million in Bray

We heard from Sergeant John Fitzgearld with the Garda Update while Sorcha Murphy from Escape Boutique in Greystones gave some tips on dressing for your age.

The show started off with a discussion over the takeover of Superquinn by the Musgrave group, while we heard from local councillors about the plan to pay for €3 million CPO

10am - 11am
John Lonergan, former Governor of Mountjoy Prison talked about life after Mountjoy and what work he is doing at the moment, while the Avril Barrett East Coast Physio talked about marathon running inhuries and strategies to avoid them.

11am - 12pm

We heard from East Coast FM’s Golf Reporter Walter Townsend on Darren Clarke’s fantastic win at the British Open and The Friday Panel consisted of Barbara Scually, Hotelier Pat Casey and Tony O’Brien

Iron Man Gerry Duffy joined Declan to talk about his new book ‘Who Dares, Runs’ and also being crowned Iron Man while Producer Claire Darmody went through the weekends tv.

11am - 12pm
Ciara Devlin, Grandmother of Kelsey Devlin who won a meet and greet with Jedward at the Sea Breeze Festival on Freshly Squeezed last week told us how they got on and how great Jedward were, while we were joined by Wyvern Linx who are playing at the Knockenstocken festival later this month
