Devo begins building his Army for 2011 Campaign!!

Bray Wanderers preparations for the 2011 Airtricity Premier Division Season are well and truly underway. Pat Devlin has moved quickly to tie down the vast majority of last season’s squad on new contracts.
Speaking over the weekend "Devlin said “We have been working very hard since the end of November and we have now resigned all of last season’s squad ”
After last season’s great escape, Devlin felt it was only fair to offer all the squad members new contracts “The effort put in by every player last season was immense; they went above and beyond for the cause so we felt it was only right and fair that we offer all of them new contracts for all their hard work, commitment and dedication to Bray Wanderers”

Wanderers’ fans will be thrilled to learn that players such as Jake Kelly, Derek Prendergast, Shane O’Neill, Adam Mitchell, Matt Gregg, Gary Dempsey and Dane Massey will all be wearing the Green and White of Bray next season. Assistant Manager Keith Long said “Obviously we are delighted to have most of the lads have resigned up so early. Last season was a nightmare for us not knowing what division we were playing in. We had set ourselves a First Division budget and before we knew it we were in the Premier Division and it was too late to bring players in. We built an unbelievable team spirit last season and it goes to show how much playing for Bray means to the players”

Devlin also added “We are still talking to a few of the lads at the moment and we have plenty more irons in the fire, we won’t rush into anything and will only sign players that will fit in with the Bray Wanderers ethos. We are now looking forward to getting pre season under way”
