•We discussed clamping and dodgy diesel with AA’s Conor Faughnan and Ray Kavangh of Fuel Rescue. We spoke to the Garda Representatives Association President about the shortage of Gardai and the closure of stations, we also spoke to Newtown resident Anne Gregory about the planned closure of the Newtown Garda Station and Fr Arthur O’ Neill gave us his views on claims from the Vatican that sermons are “dull and grey” and need to be livened up with “scandal”

11- 12am

•Miriam Kerins, DSPCA told us why people shouldn’t keep exotic animals as pets and Pete Brennan of Beatles Ireland talked to us about why the Beatles record covers are among the most valuable in the world and the anniversary of their Dublin gig today. Crime author and journalist Paul Williams also dropped in to talk about his new book “Bad Fellas”
