•Dr Ernan Gallgher spoke to us about the effect 50mg of alcohol compared to 5 times legal UK limit has due to the inquest results on Amy Winehouse’s untimely death and the new drink driving limit. We also heard first hand experience of dealing with a flooded home from listener and flood protection lobbyist Noleen Mc Manus and listener Val Donovan, we also heard advice on dealing with flooding from Insurance Federation of Ireland spokesperson Michael Horan.
•We discussed Danish research that claims breastcheck screening can do more harm then good with researcher and physician Dr Karstin Jorgansen and breast cancer survivor and author Kate Thompson told us her story of how breastcheck may have saved her life.
