The Morning Show with Declan Meehan, Wednesday 3rd August 2011

David Norris's nomination campaign ending was the main topic discussed throughout the show today.
9am - 10am
The show kicked off with debate over David Norris withdrawing from the presidential campaign. We also had ‘The Paper Trail’ with Producer Claire Darmody.

10am - 11am
Philomena Lynott was on the line with Joe Weadick and Colm Weadick in studio to explain what’s happening in Arklow to celebrate 25 years since Thin Lizzy played there. This hour was also dominated by the Norris nomination campaign, with Stephen O’Leary from O’Leary Analytics telling us how reaction has been online and Ken Robinson from Paddy Power on the change in odds.

11am - 12pm
We heard from Max O’Reilly Hyland from Brittas Bay who will be participating in the Dublin Horse Show all this week and once again returned to the David Norris controversy with listener Denis ringing in to express his opinion and Hugh O’Connell from telling us about their online survey on it.
