•Morning Show Producer Claire Darmody commented on the headlines of today’s papers, which were dominated by the Taoiseach’s speech about the Vatican. (the speech was played on the show just after 9am)
•Accident and Emergency Consultant, Dr Chris Luke and Irish Patients Association CEO Stephen McMahon also joined us to discuss the potential threat to patients due to the current doctor shortage and the influx of new doctors to deal with this issue following on from yesterday’s newspaper reports of a Doctor who was unable to find a patients pulse.

10 – 11am

•We returned to Enda Kenny’s words against the Vatican when we heard reaction to the speech from Arklow Parish Priest Fr Martin Cosgrave and One in Four Director, Maeve Lewis.
•Science Spin co-editor, Sean Duke told us why happiness may be a woman being slimmer then her partner.
•We also heard why The Orchard Nursing Home will not serve as the new premise for Bray Cancer Support Centre for the moment, this news came following a meeting with the HSE, TD’s and the support group team yesterday.

11 – 12noon

•Donnellies Chef Siobhan Donnelly joined us to give us tips on summer weekend breakfasts
•Holiday Doc Joe Supple talked about Greece as a destination for a break
