Wicklow Miss Universe Finals

Rosanna to select from Twelve Tall beauties for the Venue Miss Universe Title

All roads lead to the Venue at the Grand Hotel Wicklow this Sunday 29th May for the glamorous finale of the search for Wicklow’s 2011 Miss Universe representative. A spectacular catwalk has been ordered in especially for final of the Wicklow leg of the world’s most prestigious beauty competition.

Eleven gorgeous finalists will battle it out to represent the Venue night club Wicklow at the national Miss Universe finals on Friday 10th June. Former Miss World Rosanna Davison will be travelling down especially to help judge the competition and crown the Wicklow winner.

The Venue will open specially for the glittering affair – doors open at 11pm and the club will stay open ‘til late. This will be one of the most stylish Miss Universe finals in the country with a team of top stylists from Wicklow Town’s L’Oreal Professional R + R Hair Salon on duty all day Sunday creating top model hairstyles for each of the finalists. Make-up artist to the stars, Sarahmarie Howe will bring a unique touch of Hollywood glitz and glamour to the occasion.

Ruth and Roisin Martin of R +R Hair Salon say they are going all out to ensure a Wicklow girl has the best chance possible of heading off to New York to represent Ireland at the international Miss Universe contest:

“We have some amazing entrants to the Wicklow competition – They deserve to be recognised and we are giving them the full star treatment to ensure they look their very best. We want not just an Irish Miss Universe but a Wicklow Miss Universe!”
