The Morning Show with Declan Meehan, Monday 14th March

Monday 14th March
The Morning Show with Declan Meehan

The rising incidents of tourism related crime in the Garden County was just one of the topics we covered on today’s Morning Show with Declan Meehan. We heard comment on the recent spate of car break-ins and vandalism from Wicklow County Tourism Chairman, Tom Fortune and News Editor Gareth Farrell. There was also good news for Tourism in Wicklow today, when Kerry man Nathan Kingerly, who is travelling around Ireland with a dog and a goat in search of the Irish welcome gave Wicklow the thumbs up and described it as the “friendliest place” he had been to so far.

On Today’s Morning Show we also returned to our discussion about the plan to scrap the bus corridor on Bray Main Street with Local Councillors John Ryan and Eugene Finnegan and local businessman Liam Mc Garry, Parenting coach Marian Byrne dropped in to give her 5 tips to connecting with your children and thoughts on sleepovers and we spoke to Greystones man in Japan, Andy O’ Doherty about his experience since Fridays earthquake and subsequent tsunami.
