The mortgage interest rate hikes that are on the way was just one of the topics we covered on today’s Morning Show with Declan Meehan. We heard details on this from Finance Consultant, Liam Croke. We also heard reaction from Respond Housing Charity, Communicaitons Executive, Aoife Walsh.

Today’s Morning Show also included an interview with Bray Wanderers, Pat Devlin ahead of the new season, and we heard about the launch of National Tree Week with Jean Costelllo, Coillte and Mary Kenny of the National Tree Council. National Tree Week runs between 6th – 12th. Tree Week 2011 will be officially launched on Sunday, March 6 with a family fun day at Avondale Forest Park in Rathdrum, Co. Wicklow. The Morning Show also included reaction to a recent Bray circuit civil court case where a local down syndrome man was referred to as a “lunatic”. We heard reaction to this from Anthony Finnegan, Service Manager, Bray Lakers, Arklow solicitor, Donal O’ Sullivan and Down Syndrome Ireland Chief Executive, Pat Clarke.
