The new National Strategy for Higher Education was just one of the topics covered on today’s Morning Show with Declan Meehan. We heard reaction to this from IBEC head of education policy, Tony Donahoe, USI President, Gary Redmond and Independent Deputy Joe Behan.

On today’s show we heard financial tips for 2011 from Money Doctor, John Lowe, we spoke to Comedian Des Bishop ahead of his upcoming local gig and Wicklow Sinn Fein general election candidate John Brady joined us in studio to talk about his plans for the future.

Today’s Morning Show also featured a discussion on the potential impact the Green Party’s proposed climate bill could have on the food sector. We heard comment on this from Wicklow IFA County Chairman, James Hill and Green Party Councillor Ciaran O’ Brien. We also heard from local Deputies Liz Mc Manus and Andrew Doyle.
