The result of this week’s Fine Gael Leadership battle was just one of the topics covered on today’s Morning Show with Declan Meehan. We got final comment on the heave from Political Correpsondent, Padraig Gallagher. We also heard reaction from local Councillor and Bruton supporter Derek Mitchell and Kenny camp spokesperson Councillor Simon Harris.

On this morning’s show we also got a review of the World Cup so far, we heard how a meat and potatoes diet could help you live longer from Dr Harry Comber, Director, The National Cancer Registry and Money Watchdog John Diskin joined us in studio to give us advice on home insurance.

The Morning Show also featured a discussion about alleged cheating in state exams. We heard comment from ASTI spokesperson Patricia Wroe and President of The Irish Second Level Students Union, Leanne Caulfield.

On-going vandalism in the County was just one of the topics covered on today’s Morning Show with Declan Meehan. We spoke to Councillors Kathleen Kelleher and Pat Casey about a recent incident in Glendalough and we heard comment and complaints from listeners with similar experiences. Local Sergeant John Fitzpatrick joined us in studio to discuss the issue and solutions further.

On this morning’s show we also got review of the World Cup so far from Former Irish Times Editor Peter Byrne, we returned to the on-going Fine Gael leadership battle with an update from political correspondent Padraig Gallagher and we ehard tips and advice on reducing your health insurance bills from insurance consultant Dermot Goode. We also heard comment on the heave from party Chief Whip and camp Kenny spokesperson, Paul Kehoe and Wicklow FG TD Andrew Doyle joined us in studio to declare his place on Team Bruton.

On this morning’s show we discussed the increasing problem of elder abuse with Gresytones Solicitor Mark Felton, we debated the current housing problem in the county with councillor Tracey O’ Brien and outgoing Ceatharloach Pat Vance and reporter Laura Wood spoke to us live from the Bray Bloomsday events.

The Morning Show also featured reaction to the long awaited Saville Report, we spoke to Northern Ireland Journalist Eamonn Mc Dermott and heard an account of the day and comment on the report from Bishop Eamonn Daly.

The on-going Fine Gael Leadership battle was the main of the topics covered on today’s Morning Show with Declan Meehan. We got comment from Political Correpsondent, Padraig Gallgher and Former FG Minister Ivan Yates. We also heard reaction to yesterdays sacking of Richard Bruton and his push against Enda Kenny from local Fine Gael Councillors John Ryan, Irene Winters, Donal O’ Sullivan and Sarah Wray.

On this morning’s show we got a review of the latest world cup matches from Irish Daily star, sports editor Paul Lennon live from Cape Town, we discussed this years maths exam papers and the future of Project Maths with IBEC Head of Education Tony Donohoe and Maths teacher John Brennan and we found out how you can get your tax back from Iirsh Taxation Institute spokesperson Tim Quinlivan.

The Morning show also included coverage of the launch of Bray Cancer Support Centre’s campaign for a permanent premises. East Coast FM Reporter Laura Wood joined the campaign at the Martello in Bray just before 11am this morning and linked back to Declan with Founder and CEO, Veronica O’ Leary, she also interviewed volunteers and clients from the cancer support centre.
