The latest political opinion poll was just one of the topics covered on today’s Morning Show with Declan Meehan. We heard reaction to the rising labour figures from Labour TD Liz Mc Manus, Councillors Jimmy O’ Shaughnessy, Tom, Forutne and Barry Nevins. We also discussed falling satisfaction in Fine Gael and Fine Fail with Councillors Simon Harris and Pat Fitzgerald.

On this morning’s show we heard about new rules for roaming phone charges, we spoke to passenger of the hi-jacked Gaza bound flotilla Fiachra O’ Luain about his latest meeting with the Government and we got details of the latest blogs and details on the Leaving Cert from Greystones student Ronan Coveny.

The Morning Show also featured an interview about World Cup 2010. We heard comment and prediction from Former Irish Times Sports Editor Peter Byrne, East Coast FM’s Joe Harrington, Football fanatic Tony Dunne and Celtic Bookmakers spokesperson Andrew Yeats. The news that Pizarro has been granted planning permission for new town centre development at Bray was just one of the topics covered on today’s Morning Show with Declan Meehan. We heard reaction to this from Bray Cathaoirleach John Ryan and President of Bray Chamber of Commerce, John Nolan. We also got comment from lobby group SWAP spokesperson Adrian Mc Kenna.

On this morning’s show we talked about the rise in recession related suicides with Founder of Suicide or Survive, Caroline Mc Guigan and Preisdent of Irish Association of Suicidology, Dan Neville and we Heads up project manager Colette Ryan told us about a new application from Heads up to help young people deal with mental health issues.
