U.C.D. hit Bray for 6

Wanderers suffered one of their heaviest home defeats in the Club's history at the Carlisle last night.

After dominating the first half they were unlucky to concede a goal in the 45th minute thanks to David Mc Millan but the teams performance in the second half bore no resemblance to that in the first half.

the Students went further in front on 48 minutes, Greg Bolger fired home, Bolger grabbed his 2nd Goal of the evening on 57 minutes.

Bray Net minder Brian Kane put through his own net 60 seconds later.

David Mc Millan forced forced the ball home on 67 minutes to make it 5

Evan Mc Millan completed the rout on 74 minutes added the 6th goal

The outcome of the UK elections was just one of the topics on todays Morning Show with Declan Meehan. We heard comment and reaction about this from Political Analyst, Susan Philips and Pete Wederburn.

On this morning’s show we heard a forecast on volcanic ash for the coming days and how this may impact on future travel plans from David Murphy, Head of the Agency’s aviation Division, Met Office, Money watchdog John Diskin joined us in studio to give advice on dealing with mortgage arrears and we heard a preview of the players Championship from our Golf Correspondent.

The Morning Show also featured an interview about growing your own vegetables with Gardener Paul Sexton. Paul spoke to us about how to be more self-sufficient in your own backyard. Bray V U.C.D. Team News

Bray Wanderers welcome U.C.D. to the Carlisle Grounds for their Airtricity Premier Division tie. (Friday 7th May K.O.7;45)

Team news for the Seagulls is.
Richie Baker,Shane O'Neill and John Mulroy all of whom missed Bray's last two outings are back in the squad. However Captain Daire Doyle and Dean Zambra will once again miss out.

Padraic Moran caught up with Eddie Gormley and began by asking him "how he felt about last week's defeat to Galway".

Sporting edge out Wanderers

Wanderers went down to Sporting Fingal on a 1-0 scoreline at Morton Stadium last night .

The winner came after 26 minutes when Shane McFaul rose unchallenged to head home from a Conon Byrne corner.

Jake Kelly saw his header come back off the crossbar on 65 minutes.

Wanderers remain rooted to the bottom of the Premier Division.

We heard tributes from his colleagues and long time family friends, journalist and entertainer Shay Healy and Today FM CEO and former producer of the Gerry Ryan Show, Willie O’ Reilly. We also spoke to musician Paddy Cole about time he spent with the late 2fm DJ.
