Pubs being opening in Limerick for Good Friday was just one of the topics that we covered today’s Morning Show with Declan Meehan. We heard comment from Independent Limerick Councillor John Gilligan and also spoke to Peter O’ Brien about his drink and drug free club night in Club Nassau taking place tonight. (Good Friday)

On today’s Morning Show we got comment ahead of the weekends rugby from former Rugby International, Shane Byrne, heard a garda traffic update and road safety warning for the bank holiday weekend and Colette Murray joined us to tell us about the upcoming Wicklow Rose Selection for the Rose of Tralee, The Roses have to between 18-28 years of age and two selection evenings will take place in the Marriott hotel Newtownmountkennedy : On Friday 9th April & Thurday 29th April. The Morning Show also featured an in studio interview author Colette Caddle about her latest book “The Secrets We Keep” and Arklow resident Gary Redmond dropped in to tell us about being appointed the new president of the Union of Students of Ireland.

Laura Leonard of Small Photography joined us in studio with Dan Kenny and Nicole Kidd, both who have family members living with Cystic Fibrosis (CF). They told us about IPPA Happy Faces which takes place on Saturday 3rd April (Easter Saturday) in Kenny's SuperValu, Blessington in aid Cystic Fibrosis and for a €25 donation, customers will receive a mini portrait session and a gift sized print. 100% of the donation goes to the Cystic Fibrosis Association of Ireland for much needed isolation facilities. Photographer Sasfi Hope Ross will be also be doing a similar event to fundraise for CF in Greystones on 10th April at Barker House, Church Road, Greystones 11am – 6pm.

Drogheda United V Bray - Team News

Bray Wanderers will hope to pick up their first Points of the season, when they travel to Hunky Dory Park to take on Drogheda United in the Airtricity Premier Division. (Monday 5th April K.O. 7;45)

For the first time this season, Bray Boss Eddie Gormley has a full squad to pick from.

Padraic Moran Caught up with Eddie Gormley and began by asking him "if he felt his side deserved anything from the game with U.C.D. last week"

The HSE taking over a Bray Nursing Home was just one of the topics covered on today’s Morning Show with Declan Meehan. Declan got comment from Age Action Ireland spokesperson, Gerard Scully.

On today’s Morning Show we continued our discussion about the banking situation and government bailout with local councilors Simon Harris, Pat Casey and Ronan Mc Manus, we heard details from FF TD Mattie Mc Grath of yesterdays parlimentary party meeting with the Taoiseach and we got comment on public service pay agreement from TUI Vice President, Bernie Ruan.

The show also featured a discussed last nights match with Manchester united supporter Tony Dunne, Arsenal supporter Catherine Moran and Joe Harrington and we heard details on how you can reduce your household bills with “The Economiser” from National Consumer Agency spokesperson Fergal O’ Leary. Bailout Tuesday and the details on the banks was the main topic covered on today’s Morning Show with Declan Meehan. We got explanation from Money Doctor John Lowe, heard reaction from Labour finance spokesperson, Joan Burton, FG Finance spokesperson Richard Bruton, Minister Mary White and FG deputy Andrew Doyle. We also heard comment from Journalist and author of Banksters, Martina Devlin.

On today’s Morning Show Declan also discussed the cuts of special needs assistants with Wicklow campaigner, Terry Dargan and FG Spokesperson on Education, Brian Hayes, Solicitor John Murphy joined us in studio to give advice on dealing with the legal issues of separation, pre-nups and long term unmarried couples and we heard the importance of the trocaire Lenten campaign from organization spokesperson Owen Murray.

The show also featured an in studio interview with St John of Gods, Consultant Psycholoigst, Dr Abbie Lane. Dr Lane discussed the cause and effect of stress and anxiety and gave advice on recognizing and dealing with depression. St. John of God Hospital will be running a number of public lectures during April and May covering different topics. On the 26th April the topic will be "Give your mental health a workout through exercise". It's a free lecture and will commence at 8pm until 9.30pm. The end of the public service pay talks and the decision reached early this morning was just one of the topics covered on today’s Morning Show with Declan Meehan. We got reaction from Deputies Billy Timmins and Joe Behan and we heard an interview from Labour Relations Commission, Chief Executive, Kieran Mulvey.

On today’s Morning Show Declan also returned to the issue of poisoned red kites in County Wicklow with Minister Dick Roche and Wicklow IFA chairman James Hill, we heard comment on the current banking situation and NAMA from financial advisor Liam Croke and Chairman of the Wicklow Hopsice Foundation, Dr Brendan Cuddihy told us about the launch of the Model Wicklow Hospice in the Central Garage in Bray, this can be seen for the next two weeks and is to raise awareness of the Hospice Foundation.

Morning Show Reporter Laura wood checked in with us several times throughout her visit to Enniskerry, Bionic Tonic’s Oonagh Mc Morrow gave us alternative therapy advice for dealing with hay fever and sinus problems and hypno- magician Keith Barry joined us in studio to show off his talent with listeners who called in, he also talked about his upcoming gig in the Arklow Bay Hotel on April 15th.

The reaction to the local Councillor Pat Kavangh’s resignation from the Green Party was just one of the topics covered on today’s Morning Show with Declan Meehan. We spoke to Pat about her decision and also got comment from Green Party member Caroline Burrell.

On today’s Morning Show Declan discussed the psychology behind relationships with psychologist Theresa Fenton, we hear details the current situation with the banks with Money Doctor John Lowe and we discussed the recent poisoning of red kites in County Wicklow from Mervyn Sunderland, Wicklow branch of Irish cattle and sheep association and Golden Eagle Trust Spokesperson, Damian Clarke.

The show also featured the official launch of the East Coast FM’s Wicklow Wide Coffee Morning, Declan was joined in studio by Greystones Cancer Support spokesperson Kathleen Kelleher, founders of Bray Cancer support centre Veronica and Brendan O’ Leary and Bill Porter from Rathdrum Cancer Support centre. We heard the importance of the coffee morning to raise funds and awareness, and got details on each venue. This years coffee morning will take place in nine different venues around the county between 10am – midday on Friday April 16th. Bray V Bohs - Team News

Bray Wanderers will hope to get their first points of the season, when they Welcome Champions Bohemians to the Carlisle Grounds in the Airtricity Premier Division.(Monday 29th March K.O. 7;45)
Team News is as follows
Eddie Gormley has added newly signed Stephen Brennan to his squad for the game, while Colm Tresson has a slight Hamstring strain and will be given a late fitness test.
I caught up with Eddie Gormley and began by asking him what went wrong on Friday against U.C.D.
