Sligo edge out Seagulls
Wanderers new look team were beaten 1-0 by Sligo Rovers in the first of their pre-season friendly today in Kilternan.
The Seagulls played very well in the first half and went in scoreless at the interval.
Sligo Rovers changed their entire team in the second half as well as the colour of their jerseys and dominated for long periods as Wanderers made a number of changes
Their winning goal came after 70 minutes of the second half when former Seagull, Gary McCabe, was taken down outside the 18 yard line and Richie Ryan curled the free kick into the top corner.
