The Morning Show with Declan Meehan, Friday 17th December

Friday 17th December
The Morning Show with Declan Meehan

Paul O’ Connell’s suspension was just one of the issues we covered on the Morning Show with Declan Meehan. We heard reaction to this from Former International Rugby Player, Shane Byrne.

On today’s show also heard about nostalgic Christmas foods from Restaurant Critic, Tom Doorely, we discussed the changes to pension since Budget 2011 with Money Watchdog John Diskin and Standard Life, Head of Pensions, Jim Connolly and we got advice on buying toys for your pet from Vet Pete Wederburn.

The Morning Show also featured a discussion about the expected severe weekend weather. Wicklow County Council Chairman Tom Fortune explained the latest on available grit for the County, we discussed alternative gritters with IFA Wicklow County Chairman, James Hill. We got the forecast for the coming days from John Eagleton, Met Eireann and Councillor Jimmy O’ Shaughnessy spoke to us from Rathdrum, just one part of the County that is still badly effected.
