The Morning Show with Declan Meehan, Friday 22nd October

Friday 22nd October
The Morning Show with Declan Meehan

The on-going fight to save Wicklow Hospital was just one of the topics covered on today’s Morning Show with Declan Meehan. We heard further comment on this from campaigner Mandie Delahunt.

Today’s Morning Show was broadcast live from the Brockagh Resource Centre in Laragh to celebrate social inclusion week. We were joined by Brian Keogh, CEO County Wicklow Partnership and Anne Byrne - local community development programme manager who talked to us about social inclusion week. We were also joined by other local community groups taking part on the day and Breda Whelan and Dermot Allen from Wicklow Rural Transport dropped down to discuss access to transport in Wicklow.

Donnellies Chef Siobhan Donnelly joined us in Laragh to talk about pumpkins in time for Halowe’en and local politcians Andrew Doyle, Pat Casey and Conal Kavanagh dropped down to review the papers and talk about local issues.
