The Morning Show with Declan Meehan, Thursday 16th September

Thursday 16th September
The Morning Show with Declan Meehan

A study on changing Irish attitudes towards was just one of the topics on today’s Morning Show with Declan Meehan. We heard details from the study which looked at Irish people’s views on Gay unions and sex before marriage from Behaviour and Attitudes MD, Ian Mc Shane and we got reaction to the positive outcomes from Gay and lesbian equality Network spokesperson Tiernan Brady. We also got comment on further results from the study which shows a majority of people say priests should be allowed to marry from political analyst Susan Philps and Fr Arthur O’ Neill.

On today’s show we also spoke to Mick O’Dwyer about why he chose to stay with Wicklow for another year, Organic Trust, Quality Assurance Manager, Colm Keogh talked to us about national organic week and Journalist Martina Devlin gave us the latest details on the fallout affecting the Taoiseach since that interview.
