The future of the Taosieach following constant rumours of an alleged heave by party colleagues was just one of the topics on today’s Morning Show with Declan Meehan. We heard the latest details on this from political correspondent Padraig Gallagher. We also got comment and reaction from local FF councillors Pat Fitzgerald and Pat Casey.

On today’s show we discussed the benefits of insulation with Irish Times Pricewatcher Conor Pope, Money doctor John Lowe told us why life loans could be the future for people struggling to manage financially and Sorcha Murphy from Escape Boutique in Greystones joined us to give us fashion tips for winter.

The show also featured several tributes to Bray boxer Katie Taylor, we heard praise for the now three time World Champion from Irish Amateur Boxing Association PRO Bernard O’ Neill. We heard tributes and well wishes from Mayor of Bray, David Grant, local Councillor John Brady, Minister Dick Roche and Wicklow County Council Cathaoirleach Tom Fortune.
