The Morning Show with Declan Meehan, Friday 17th Septemeber

Friday 17th September
The Morning Show with Declan Meehan

The future of the Taosieach following his controversial interview earlier in the week was just one of the topics on today’s Morning Show with Declan Meehan. We heard comment and reaction from local FF councillors Pat Fitzgerald and David Grant.

On today’s show we discussed the future of 145, 84 and other local bus routes with Councillor Tom Fortune and Dublin Bus spokesperson Chris Rafferty, we heard about an EU grant to improve Irelands flood response and we were told about proposed plans for a National Film Museum in Bray by Councillor John Brady and Ardmore Studios MD, Kevin Moriarty.

The show also featured a discussion on the rise in salmonella and the need for caution for people keeping their own poultry, we heard details on the risks involved from FSAI Director of Food Sciences Dr Wayne Anderson and we got practical advice from Michael Kelly, founder of the GIY movement and local egg supplier Sylvestour Bourke.
