Flooding around the county was one of the topics on today’s Morning Show with Declan Meehan. Local councillor Pat Casey talked to us about the flooding of his hotel in Glendalough. We also heard how Greystones was affected from Cllr George Jones and discussed the future of flood protection in Baltinglass with FG Deputy Billy Timmins. Councillor Jimmy O’ Shaughnessy told us about last nights landslide caused by the bad weather in Glenmalure.

On today’s show we also discussed traffic problems in Bray and the proposed traffic lights for Killarney Rd interchange with Councillors Rossa Murray and Eugen Finnegan, we got the latest update on Ivor Callely and we heard details on National Suicide Prevention Day which takes place on Friday September 10th from SOS founder Caroline Mc Guigan.
