The Morning Show with Declan Meehan, Friday 27th August

Friday 27th August
The Morning Show with Declan Meehan

The significant increase in the sale of Irish brands was just one of the topics covered on today’s Morning Show with Declan Meehan. We heard comment on this from Checkout Magazine spokesperson, John Ruddy.

Today’s Morning Show was broadcast live from the Park Pavillion in Aughrim. We were joined in the Granite City by Former Rugby International Shane Byrne who talked to us about rugby and surviving in local business. We also spoke to Margaret Brady of Aughrim Active Retirement about the new Aughrim Times and Kevin Mc Manus about continuing local success with Tidy Towns.

The show also featured a tribute to the late David Wise, Technological Correspondent, Damien Mulley told us about plans by google to rival skype and Aughrim resident Derry Cullen dropped by to tell us about his treks and trails business which include moonlit walks around the village.
