The Morning Show with Declan Meehan, Wednesday 21st July

Wednesday 21th July
The Morning Show with Declan Meehan

The publication of the Oireachtas report on the handling of the snow crises in January was just one of the topics covered on The Morning Show, with Declan Meehan. We got comment from Joanna Tuffy T.D., member of the Oireachteas Committee on the Environment which published the report, and we also heard from many local councilors including Cllr. Pat Casey, Cllr. David Grant, Cllr. John Ryan and Cllr. Jimmy O’Saughnessy.

Caroline Mc Guigan from Survivors of Suicide (SOS) talked to us about the increase in suicides due to financial problems.

We spoke to The Money Doctor, John Lowe about the 300,000 householders who are going to be affected by an increase in mortgage payments, when some of the major banks increase their interest rates.

We got comment from Liam Aylward MEP and James Hill from Wicklow IFA about food imports to the E.U. from other countries and how it is affecting Irish farmers and we heard from Frank Gorden from Bray Wanderers in relation to Bray Wanderers verses Middlsborough
