The Morning Show with Declan Meehan, Friday 11th June

Friday 11th June
The Morning Show with Declan Meehan

The latest political opinion poll was just one of the topics covered on today’s Morning Show with Declan Meehan. We heard reaction to the rising labour figures from Labour TD Liz Mc Manus, Councillors Jimmy O’ Shaughnessy, Tom, Forutne and Barry Nevins. We also discussed falling satisfaction in Fine Gael and Fine Fail with Councillors Simon Harris and Pat Fitzgerald.

On this morning’s show we heard about new rules for roaming phone charges, we spoke to passenger of the hi-jacked Gaza bound flotilla Fiachra O’ Luain about his latest meeting with the Government and we got details of the latest blogs and details on the Leaving Cert from Greystones student Ronan Coveny.

The Morning Show also featured an interview about World Cup 2010. We heard comment and prediction from Former Irish Times Sports Editor Peter Byrne, East Coast FM’s Joe Harrington, Football fanatic Tony Dunne and Celtic Bookmakers spokesperson Andrew Yeats. Technological correspondent Damien Mulley also told us about all the best blogs and websites for World Cup updates.
