The Morning Show with Declan Meehan, Tuesday 4th May

Tuesday 4th May
The Morning Show with Laura Wood

Reaction to the tragic death of broadcaster Gerry Ryan were the main topic on today’s Morning Show with Laura Wood. We heard tributes from his colleagues and long time family friends, journalist and entertainer Shay Healy and Today FM CEO and former producer of the Gerry Ryan Show, Willie O’ Reilly. We also spoke to musician Paddy Cole about time he spent with the late 2fm DJ.

On this morning’s show we also discussed rising petrol prices with AA Spokesperson Conor Faughnan, we got comment on the loss of jobs in Quinn Insurance from Dublin West TD Joan Burton and we heard an update on the latest volcanic ash travel disruptions from Dublin Airport Authority communications manager, Siobhan Moore.

The Morning Show also featured an interview about the top ten scams with Irish Times Price-watcher Conor Pope and we also discussed keeping fit during pregnancy with health consultant Helen Walsh. You can contact Helen at www.helenwalsh.ie
