Friday 7th May
The Morning Show with Declan Meehan

The outcome of the UK elections was just one of the topics on todays Morning Show with Declan Meehan. We heard comment and reaction about this from Political Analyst, Susan Philips and Pete Wederburn.

On this morning’s show we heard a forecast on volcanic ash for the coming days and how this may impact on future travel plans from David Murphy, Head of the Agency’s aviation Division, Met Office, Money watchdog John Diskin joined us in studio to give advice on dealing with mortgage arrears and we heard a preview of the players Championship from our Golf Correspondent.

The Morning Show also featured an interview about growing your own vegetables with Gardener Paul Sexton. Paul spoke to us about how to be more self-sufficient in your own backyard. Paul was also joined by Alpine Paving’s Sharon Ward and they both gave us tips on patios and decking. You can visit Paul at the Paul Sexton Garden Centre in Cabinteely and Glen of the Downs.
